My Fyrst
Welcome to Module 1.
An emotional health practice that meets you where you are.
Emotional Reflection 1
You showed up — consistently.
Before we show you the pattern —
what emotion do you think showed up most?
Trust your instinct. There is no right answer here.
What does this pattern mean to you right now?
Which emotion do you want to understand more deeply?
Over these emotional reflections, certain emotions kept returning. Now you get to choose one to work with intentionally.
The emotion you pick becomes your focus in My Shifts — where you can see exactly what triggered it, whether those triggers nourished you or drained you, and how to respond with more intention next time.
There is no wrong answer. Choose the one that feels most alive, most unresolved, or most worth understanding.
Your triggers and patterns are in My Shifts.
When you're stuck in a feeling — anger, love, anxiety, grief — your mind keeps returning to it. Every thought leads back to the same place. That's the loop.
My Fyrst doesn't try to fix it.
Instead, it gives you random simple daily activities to do that have nothing to do with what you're feeling. Not because those things are the answer. But to give you an opportunity to get a break from the brain loop. It is training the brain's fundamental emotional regulation muscles before those muscles are tested in life situations.
Think of it like physical therapy: you do generalised core strengthening exercises so that your body can handle specific, heavy lifting later.
My Fyrst doesn't tell you what you feel. It makes enough space for you to find out.
My Fyrst blends simple daily activities with the depth of journaling — a proprietary process designed to cultivate emotional self-awareness, mindfulness, and personal growth over time.
My Fyrst is a lifelong daily practice. Each session is small, but over time the pieces connect into something much larger. Here is the full picture.
Each session has three activities. Read the activity details, take your time with it. Once you've completed the activity, you'll be guided to journal — choose the colour that feels closest to the emotion you experienced while doing the activity, and note the trigger or reason behind it.
Some activities require less time than others. You can close the app mid-session and return — your progress is saved after each activity.
The colour you pick is not a diagnosis. It is an emotional record.
A single session takes between 5 and 10 minutes depending on the activities. There is no timer and no deadline.
There are four sessions in a reflection. Do them whenever you are ready — a day apart, it does not matter. Take it at your own pace.
For the best effect, we recommend doing a maximum of one session per day. Spacing out your sessions over the time gives an opportunity to build self awareness habit and a genuine understanding of your emotions — rather than rushing through.
The practice works best slowly. One activity at a time, one session at a time.
My Fyrst uses colour as the language of emotion. Naming a feeling precisely in the moment is hard — choosing a colour is easier. It bypasses the thinking mind and gets closer to what you actually feel.
The nine colours come from the Navarasa — an ancient Indian framework of nine fundamental human emotions used in classical art, music, and theatre for over two thousand years.
My Fyrst uses three types of flowers — each tells a different part of your emotional story.
Your flower is made of petals — one for each activity across four sessions. Each petal tells a story about that moment.
The toolbar at the bottom gives you access to five areas of your practice.
At the start of your practice, you answered three questions about your emotional self-awareness. These are your baseline — a snapshot of where you were before you began.
At each milestone, you will answer them again. Over time, your answers appear side by side in My Shifts — so you can see not just what you felt, but how your capacity to understand yourself has genuinely changed.
The three questions are:
For the best experience, add My Fyrst to your home screen. It opens instantly like a native app and remembers you automatically — no sign-in every time.

You can revisit all of this any time in the My Guide tab.
These measure your emotional self-awareness right now — before the practice begins.
At each milestone, you will answer them again. Over time, you will see in My Shifts exactly how your self-awareness has shifted — compared to this very moment.

Why do you think you felt it? What was happening? Who or what was involved?
The situation or reason behind what you felt — does it leave you feeling nourished or drained?
You can complete this from your session summary. Once the emotional reflection closes, this petal can no longer be coloured.
