Ayurvedic Principles – The Path to Balance

Timeless teachings on achieving harmony in mind, body, and spirit. My Fyrst draws inspiration from Ayurveda to support a sense of inner harmony, balance, and wellbeing through mindful practice.

Navarasa: The Nine Essential Emotions

An ancient framework that views emotions as ‘essences’ or ‘flavours’. Instead of labelling them “good or bad”, you’ll learn to understand the purpose and wisdom of all nine emotions, from Love (Singara) to Peace (Santa). In this way, emotions become signals rather than judgements.


Finally, a wellbeing practice that doesn’t demand more screen time. It’s the one thing in my day that’s entirely my own.

The texts were the gentle nudge I needed to stay mindful throughout the day. I didn’t realise how much I was running on autopilot.

My Fyrst grew from three things Neelima has carried for over two decades: the structural discipline of a project manager who builds frameworks for a living, the spatial intelligence of an architect who understands how environments shape human experience, and over a decade of personal exploration of two traditions — the Navarasa framework and Ayurvedic principles, including Sattvavajaya Chikitsa.
The three-step practice is not borrowed from a textbook. It is the original output of Neelima who builds systems for a living, applied to the most important system of all: understanding yourself.

Is My Fyrst a form of therapy or clinical support?

No. My Fyrst is not therapy or a clinical service. It is a guided self-reflection practice designed to support everyday wellbeing through mindfulness, reflection, and self-awareness. If you need clinical support, please seek a qualified mental health professional.


Is my data private and secure?

Absolutely. Everything meaningful in My Fyrst is written by you, in your physical journal, and is never shared with us or stored digitally. We only collect your email, phone number, and mailing address — used solely for communication and delivery. Privacy is built into the practice itself.

Is it an app, do I need to download?

No app required. You subscribe with your mobile number to receive daily activities via text message. All your meaningful reflection happens in your physical journal. This is intentional — moving reflections off-screen creates a more grounded, meaningful practice.
