At its core, My Fyrst draws inspiration from the eastern wisdom of Rasa, a Sanskrit concept meaning “essence” or “emotional flavor.” By examining the emotions that shape human experience, Rasa philosophy shows us that acknowledging and embracing these essences leads to deeper self-understanding. With this ancient guidance, our method encourages you to explore, honor, and integrate the full spectrum of your emotions, ultimately fostering balance and a more meaningful life.

Hi, I’m Neelima. My Fyrst is the art of mental wellbeing — a simple, guided program that helps you experience, understand, and analyze your emotions through small, daily actions.
The idea grew from my years as an architect. I learned that behind every design, every plan, and every decision, there was always an emotion shaping the outcome long before logic stepped in. That realization drew me toward the Eastern philosophy of Navarasa, which teaches that every action evokes an emotional response, and toward Ayurvedic principles, which reveal how thoughtful analysis can transform those emotions into intelligence.
From these foundations, I created a three-step process that feels both ancient and modern: mindful activity, reflective journaling, and visual emotional mapping. It’s a practical, accessible way to build emotional awareness at your own pace — without an app, without data overwhelm, just simple human-centered guidance.
My Fyrst was born from the belief that mental wellbeing should be intuitive, personal, and deeply human. I’m proud to begin this journey here in Calgary, and I’m grateful to share it with you.
